God is still in the healing business!
I learned a life lesson this week. 6 days ago I started losing my vision in my right eye. At first it looked like my computer monitor was out of focus and then it gradually got worse, to the point images and text started distorting. I do 90% of all my work on a computer. Losing an eye for me would be like a surgeon losing a hand. I reached out to my Middle East Peace Update Report family and asked them to pray for me. The Bible teaches us that if we humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God, He will raise us up. It also teaches that if we call on the Elders in the church to pray for us, the prayer of faith will heal us. Please see these references 1 Peter 5:5-7 and James 5:13-16 . My Doctor thought I might have a detached retina, which is never good. I prayed and so did my Christian family around the globe. The e-mails and well wishes poured in and it helped to focus me on God and that he does heal. Meanwhile my Doctor sent me to a specialist and he made an interesting discovery. He found that I had water in the back part of my eye and said it would more than likely clear up on it’s own and that I may need laser surgery, but it was unlikely. God answered the prayers of His people. My Doctor told me that most of these cases are worse than mine and I’d probably have a complete return of vision. So what did this teach me? I learned in a big way that when you are in trouble, first turn to God, because He does care for His own and then solicit the help of believing Brothers and Sisters to stand with you in your adversity. Our lives become busy and rushed, but, I found it amazing just how many busy people stopped to hold me up, of which, I will be eternally grateful. People in the Arabian desert , France, UK, China, Korea, Japan, U.S., Canada, Russia, Mexico, Ukraine and more around the world prayed and stood with me – just amazing! God is Good. Though I’m still dealing with distorted vision, I thank God for the lesson and showing me His love through His people! Have you asked Yeshua into your life yet? Please do, time is running out. If we don't meet again here, I'll see you in the air and in Heaven... Until Next Time Lord Willing, Bro Stef John 14:27; Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Romans 10:8-11: "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is LORD," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame." (NIV)
Because, in truth, because they have misled my people, saying, "Peace," when there is no peace; and because, when the people build a wall, these prophets smear whitewash on it. Say to those who smear whitewash on it that it shall fall. (Ezekiel 13:1-16 / NRSV) Thank you for being a valued subscriber...Share our reports with a friend. Here "Many nations shall come and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths." For out of Zion the law shall go forth, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. - Mic 4:2 "If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy." Psalm 137:5,6
