I understand that when we talk of God's judgment it offends some
peoples sensibilities, however, when you have three events
happening within
the same day, that ceases from being a coincidence and tells me
I need to pay attention!
The Bible tells us that we should pray for Godly leadership
because that will bring peace into our lives. The implication of
this scripture is the reverse. If we do not have Godly
leadership, men and women who put God above everything, God is
first in their lives, then we will not have peace and all of us,
believer's and non-believer's will pay a heavy price for putting
into office (leadership) those who are not Godly.
I'm also very sensitive to the fact that when God judges our
leaders, nation and it's people, there are those who are
innocent that will undoubtedly suffer great tragedy and loss. I
know it's not fair, I know bad things happen to good people, but
it doesn't change the fact that the Lord is doing everything He
can to wake us all up. The message, "Israel is His worry, not
ours, hands off what belongs to Him!"
The truth of the matter is this, the U.S. and it's leadership is
meddling where it has no business getting involved. When George
Bush announced back in early 2001-02, for the very first time in
our history, there must be a two state solution between Israel
and the PA, I believe, and I wrote about this back then,
he set in motion a series of events that can not be undone.
There might be one way these events could be reversed. We would
have to do what Nineveh did, complete repentance! As a people
and a nation, including our leaders, all would have to humble
ourselves under God's mighty hand and plead for forgiveness, own
up to our sin and then God would relent and turn the angel of
death from us. Until then, we can expect to have great
tribulation in the U.S.
