The greatest gifts ever given
the world began with God's call of Abraham, and through him the
Jewish people. From the great covenants of the Bible, to the
giving of the law, the scriptures, the patriarchs and the
prophets, Israel has always been God's vehicle of world redemption
(Romans 9: 4-5).
At this time of year we have the
opportunity to celebrate the greatest gift of all: the birth of
our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Bible says He was born
"in the fullness of time" (Galations 4: 4) at the right moment
in Jewish history. We all know the Christmas story well, but not
the elaborate preparations God made 2000 years earlier, “setting
the stage” in Genesis.
That's why we wanted to share
Malcolm Hedding’s message on the three-fold call of Abraham. Our
prayer is that it will inspire, inform and challenge your
understanding her unique and lasting call in the purpose of God

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world
gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid.
Because, in truth, because they have misled my people, saying, "Peace,"
when there is no peace; and because, when the people build a wall, these
prophets smear whitewash on it. Say to those who smear whitewash on it
that it shall fall.

"Many nations shall come and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain
of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His
ways, And we shall walk in His paths." For out of Zion the law shall go
forth, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. - Mic 4:2
forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. If I do
not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I
prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy." Psalm 137:5,6

Then those who feared the Lord spoke to
one another, And the Lord listened and heard
them; So a book of remembrance was written
before Him For those who fear the Lord And
who meditate on His name. AMEN! Malachi 3:16
