Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate."

We are living in the days of transition. I think it would be fair to say that 2005 will be marked by transitions. The year has just really gotten started and already we are seeing massive transitions. Just look at some of the transitions taking shape:

1. The Pope will probably not make it past Christmas of this year

2. The EU is building it's alliances all around the globe and is centering it's power in two main areas; one defense and security and two economic power base.

3. Lebanon is undergoing massive political change after the assassination of their retired president. This change will probably lead to a peace treaty with Israel.

4. With Arafat gone and out of the way Israel is doing all it can to strike a peace deal. The PA is doing the same.

5. Russia, Iran and Syria have formed their alliance and nuclear deals. Russia is beginning to fulfill her destiny as Israel's and God's number one enemy. Iran's nuclear program is in full swing now, no thanks to Russia.

With all of these transitions happening at once, all in the same time frame, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the writing on the walls...All that is needed now is one extremely charismatic individual to come front and center and offer up the solutions and a plan. The world, by the way, is actively seeking out such a leader.

The speed to which all of the pieces of the puzzle are coming together, is mind boggling!

It is my opinion that we are on the eve of the rapture of the church and the end of the church age is drawing even closer. The world is about to enter into the most horrible time it has ever known. This time is referred to as, "Jacob's Trouble", and/or the "Time of Tribulation, or "End of Days." The title used isn't really that important, however, ones attitude is. How we view God and what we harbor in our hearts will be the foundation as to how we view the world around us. If we find that God is a priority in our life, then reaching out to the community around us, one life at a time, will be something in these Last Days that we will be actively engaged in. However, if God does not have a place in our busy lives, then the very lives that God wants to touch through us, may not hear His message of grace and forgiveness. The consequences of missing that message could mean they get left behind...

Here are some questions that I continually ask myself for self examination:

1. Are the actions of my life a living example of Christ's influence in my life?

2. Do I represent here on earth, as one of God's Ambassadors, His love for this world appropriately?

3. Do I cultivate my relationship with God continually through prayer and the study of His Word?

4. Am I the salt of the earth or have I lost my flavor?

5. Am I available to God for Him to utilize me as He pleases?

6. Are God's purposes a priority in my life?

7. Do I love this life more than God?

8. Am I so heavenly minded that I am of little value to those I come in contact with on a daily basis?

9. Do I sincerely want God to use me to touch those around me?

10. What are my true motives for walking with the Lord?

The reason I have taken my report in this direction this month is very simple. Time is short, the time for the return of Christ is upon us and we need to step into the batters box and get into the game...All of us need to do this! There are people all around us who haven't heard the Good News of Christ and many don't have a clue of what time it is. We are God's mouth piece right now to the world, let us all live up to our calling and in so doing not let down our Messiah! When we see Him face to face we do not want to be ashamed, we want to hear those words we all long for, "well done my good and faithful servant."
